Mice i recommend for cheap, Steelseries Kinzu v2 Pro. good mouse to use. only $29 in australia. probably 20-25 in the US if you're from there.
and keyboards, if you're on a budget and don't want the expensie of mechanical, basically any keyboard will do the job accurately enough, I used to use a Razer Lycosa it was $39 and did me for over a year, now my mate has it been going strong for three years/ dunno if they still make it.

If you want fancy looking/featured perifs at a good price I'd recommend the Corsair Raptor K30/40 and the Logitech G602.
