Hello, guys,

In my company's computer, I am experiencing slow reaction whenever I open up Quickbook. Maybe I know what's the deciding factor in running Quickbook? Like If I add more ram, would it be faster? Or I need to replace the CPU?

Window 7 64bit

i3-2100 @3.1 ghz

6GB ram

I don't know what the system requirements for Quickbooks are.  That said, it might be that the computer has a slow HDD and it is taking a while for the data files to be read in.

Desktop: Intel Core i7-6700K, ASUS Z170-A, ASUS STRIX GTX 1080 Ti, 16GB DDR4 RAM, 512 GB Samsund 840 Pro, Seasonic X series 650W PSU, Fractal Design Define R4, 2x5TB HDD

Hypervisor 1: Intel Xeon E5-2630L, ASRock EPC612D8, 16GB DDR4 ECC RAM, Intel RT3WB080 8-port RAID controller plus expansion card, Norco RPC-4020 case, 20x2TB WD Red HDD

Other spare hypervisors: Dell Poweredge 2950, HP Proliant DL380 G5

Laptops: ThinkPads, lots of ThinkPads

Alright. I think that might be the problem as well. Actually our quickbook is linked to a server. Maybe we should upgrade that server's computer so everyone in the office can actually run the quickbook quicker.

If the server is the machine that runs the software, the specs of the server and the network will likely have a bigger impact then the client machine.  That's probably why the client machine is realtively low spec.  The server is doing most of the actual work.
