Boot usb Key not detected

Som i'm helping a friend with uppgrading his computer but The motherboard dosent detect The usb Key with Windows, i have tried all The USB ports and the CD rom. I also reset The Bios and took ost The gpu but still no post. The USB Key worked on my own computer så tjene shouldnt be any problems with that.

All help is appreciated.

Well it worked on my own computer but i dont know i need some other for this computer

I installed Windows with it

not all usb ports will work on boot. generally usb 3.0 ports do nothing until in windows

 

try it in different ports
