MoBo : Asus M5A97 M-ATX board\

GPU : EVGA GTX-670 or a Sapphire HD 7950 OC

RAM : 8Gb 1600mhz CL9 from G.skill or Kingston or corsair(any thing that fits in the case and the cooler)

HDD : Seagate Momentus XT 750GB

PSU : Eilverstone Strider Essentials 500W

Case : Silverstone TJ08 Evolution M-ATX case

CPU Cooler : Cooler Master Hyper 612 (if it fits, if not a smaller one)

what do you think about this build? is there any bottle necks?

You might wanna bump it up to an FX 8350 and put in a boot SSD. I would also recommend a Mid tower ATX case for more upgrade options in the future. And I might also suggest that you maybe get at least a 550W or 600W 80+ PSU. Also you might want to consider a CM Hyper 212 Evo, those things are a beast for the cost. Other than that, it looks like one fine build.

i was going to go for a OCZ vertex 4 like the one i have on my PC, but for what this PC is going to be used, A Momentus XT will be enough. i think i will go with the 7950 too....

so u don't see any bottle necks right?

anyway... i have to stick to a 1000CAD mark.

I would still recommend getting an 8350 instead of a 6300. Other than that... I don't see any huge bottlenecks. Good luck with your build sir =)
