Kuhler H2O 1220 radiator screws

I recently build a PC with an Obsidian 350D and a Antec Kuhler H20 1220 water cooler. It didn't come with short radiator screws so i could mount the rad directly to the case, and I can't use long fanscrews cause I would break the fins on the rad. I do have 8 extra long screws that I can cut, but how short do I need to cut them so they go through the rubber spacer on the 350D and long enough that it holds the rad but doesnt break the fins?
