csgo keeps losing conection

Go to solution Solved by wondersaurusrex,

thanks for the advice i've solved the problem by selecting the client ports manually.

If I play csgo on my own I can play for hours no issues and if my brother uses his PC to play cs but in a different server no issues but if he joins my game we both disconnect within 30 seconds.

Could be the server kicking you out because two players have the same IP. (just a speculation, I'm not sure if that even happens)

Well if I'm right, then you can test by having your brother connect to a vpn and then joining the same server. If he doesn't get kicked out...then tbh I have no clue how to help except for the solution I just stated (which of course isn't ideal because of ping latencies of VPNs.) Did you try other servers as well and did they have the same issue?

yeah its any server but the weird thing is it only started a few weeks back. I'll try the VPN and see if that's the cause.

MMM, vpn should work. They won't take it from the same public IP I think. Also make sure you both own the game, ie your not playing on the same account
