Hey guys, my friend and I just build a new computer

Specs: 780ti, 3x coolermaster blue LED fans, 650w gold psu, z77 g43 mobo, i7 2600 cpu, corsair 760t.

It all works perfectly fine, however it is VERY loud. I was wondering if there is way to turn down the fan speed, i've tried using "control centre" and "FanSpeed" but i dont have the option to change the speeds.

Also im pretty certain it isn't the CPU cooler, as i've reused it from my old computer and it never fan this loud  before.

It would be great if anyone could help, thanks

Best way is to get a fan controller. If they're not PWM fans, they're going to be running at 12v all the time.

Well my case does have a one button fan controller, but it doesn't seem to do anything, according to SppedFan4.49 fan 1 & 2 are running at around 6.5kRPM - http://puu.sh/9oHj4/44c4a4bed3.png

Have you made sure you've connected the fans to the controller? If they're plugged into the motherboard, the controller won't do anything.

Well im pretty sure they are connected, as when i do press the button the LEDs give off less light, it's just still saying at the same noise level,

Seems like it's not the case fans then. Are you using the stock CPU cooler? That can be pretty loud too. It could just be that the fans you have are generally loud though, but the fan controller should make a difference with the noise.

Yes i am using the stock CPU cooler, but i didn't think it could be that, as it was never this loud before

The only suggestion I would have then is to get a dedicated fan controller to have more control over the fans. Unless you have something like a Sabertooth board that uses those tiny fans, I can't think of anything that would make so much noise. The graphics card shouldn't be an issue, even the stock cooler is pretty quiet.

Ok, i will definitly look into getting one, however on every guide i look for with speed fan, they have the option to change there speeds, is there a reason i can't?

I'm not familiar with SpeedFan, so I'm not sure if there's a particular reason.

If you have them connected to the fan controller, you won't be able to control them with software though. SpeedFan should only be able to control those connected to the motherboard.
