I'm looking into selling an old machine for a new renovated machine for hosting servers that has some emf behind it. I'd like to know what do you think I could sell this machine for?

 

 

Specs -

 

• Cpu - Intel Core 2 Duo
• Cpu Cooler - Stock Cooler
• Motherboard - Gigabyte (something)
• Hard drive - Will upgrade to 1tb WD blue
• GPU - BFG Technologies GTX 260 (modded cooler)
• PSU - Corsair HX 650 (semi modular)

How much RAM BTW? That's pretty important.

Really the only weak link I see is the CPU and GPU. What socket is it? It might be worth it to upgrade those 2 and sell it as a full gaming system. You might be able to make a decent profit.

Just sell it as it is then Try and get like 200-250$ out of it. Doubt any more than that is possible.

4 GB of RAM is about £30 if it's decent RAM

 

CPU is about £10-20 depending on the model

 

Mobo can vary massively, I'll need a model number to get a better value, but typically £30

 

Hard Drive is about £40 new, so £30 resale

 

Card'll go for £30

 

PSU will go for £50

 

So about £180, or $300
