Why did you pick a Red over let's say a Blue or a Black?

No, they don't come in the different colours, to be aesthetically pleasing :D

Why go 16GB ram unless you're using something like AEE and other pro editing programs I think 8GB is the sweet spot save some money or buy some other better part, and get WD Black better performance almost forgot go with the 4690K.

To be an expert is to know more about less.

Buy a 4690K instead of the 4670K, it's worth every single cent! Less heat, better overclockability.

actually 650 watts gold rated is more than enough

850watts is only you are going for multi gpu setups

WD 1TB Black Series are the drive to go

drop the RAM to 1600MHz CL7 instead, they will be as fast as the 1866MHz ones

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

850W will be enough forn two graphics cards. You are fine with a quality 500W PSU, but it's never bad to have some headroom, so it's up to you.

The 4690K will allow overclocks to 4.2 without a sweat. 4.5+ could be possible depending on the quality of the chip

You might want to take a look at the i7-4790K, it's a i7 and therefor costs more, but it has a base clock of 4 GHz and a boost clock of 4.4 which is crazy. It should also overclock like schnitzel.

who cares...

I can't say much as I never use them

but it up to you

but just for a head ups the reason why I use WD drives is more towards reliability
