Hey guys

I'm having trouble with my desktop, well its working however its hitting a few bumps.

currently in it

i7 4770k

h100i cooling

asus maximus (either) VI or VII extreme i can't remember

kingston hyperx beast 2400mhz 16gb

SSD evo 840 120

SSD evo 840 250

antec 1000w psu

gtx 670 4gb evga super clocked gpu

HDD 2tb green I think or 2 1tb blacks

Problem 1:

Slow load up takes ages and gives me the shits, probs around 30 to 40 seconds in total

Problem 2:

when i hit the on button my logo does not appear and becomes a blank screen and then comes on with the windows loading screen

yes i've enabled achi, rapid technology, samsung magician optimization, fast boot, disabled unimportant start up apps

and i can not seem to find what the issue is, i've cleared the cmos as well a dozen times, if my graphics card is on its way out then i do not mind cause of warranty. I've done fresh installs on everything, the hard drives are all using the sata ports that are separate from asmedia sata ports

I've been building computers for a while but trouble shooting is not my best ability.

previously i had a ssd set up and was getting 7 second boot ups however ever since i built this pc i havent had much luck with a 7 second boot, heck my restart or shut down is a x10 faster then my boot so i am frustrated as i bought it to give me faster boot and loads

Did you do a new windows install with this build.  changing components screws with windows majorly and can cause lots of issues.

On your SSD's/drives run a speed test to see what your read/write is.

Are we talking full boot time, as the raid splash screen can be there for a while.

I have found that having apps or files the os needs on the mechanical drives the most likely cause of slow start-ups.   I had a issue recently with long start up times, this was caused by a bad hd that was read really slow.
