I am building a server and here are the following specs

Motherboard: TBD ; AMD FM2(+)

CPU: AMD A8(richland/trinity)

HDD: 8-9 HDD Western Digital Green

Memory 8GB

FAN: 5-6 120mm fan

GPU: onboard only

I found around 200-300 watts but i need to know what to pick..

The server will run 24/7 therefore i need it to be silver/gold/platium and budget is wanted to be as low as possible And what wattage PSU to get? If possible please give me a list to PSU to choose from. ALSO SATA POWER CABLES!!!!!

Any decent 400 watt should be more than enough for that. I'll go take a look to see what I can find.

EDIT: Okay, here's one with 9 SATA connectors: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817256103

And here's one with 10: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151095

They are both waaaaaay overkill, but I guess you have to be overkill to get 10 or so SATA connectors.

If you'e going to be running the server 24/7 then you'll want a power supply that is rated for twice the Wattage you need, as the 50% point is where power supplies are the most efficient. In this sense it isn't overkill to get a 500W. This would also mean the power supply is not running at full load and would therefore be quieter. And if you can only find ~500W units with all the connectors you need, then it's perfect.

Also the efficiency won't matter that much. Bronze isn't that much of a step down from Silver. It's almost negligible in terms of how much money you save or how much heat is produced from the inefficiency. What you should focus more on is the SATA connectors, the budget and the quality of the power supply itself.
