Sony MDR-XB400 black.

Recently just wnat to get some new heaphones under 50 euros and i found these for 40. I hvae a tritton pc510hda gaming headset for 100(i play fps games all i need is to hear footsteps) but the tritton headset is too big, boxy, has a million cables(not good for me-i play on a laptop and the cables are everywhere!-also take up space on my mousepad), the mic doesnt work for some reason. So what i wanted was some smaller headphones(not the small  earplugs, earphones or whatever they are) just something with:

-3.5mm jack

-30-40mm earcuffs

-50 euros or less

-good sound quality(doesnt have to be amazing bass- i mainly only need to hear footsteps in FPS games so i dont care much about bass but its a nice bonus :P)

-durability

-comfort for longer game sessions

dont worry about mic i have a built in laptop mic that works great! my friends hear me very clear and have no issues whatsoever. So is the Sony MDR-XB400 headphone good?

Also we dont have brands like audiotechnica, senheiser(only the more expensive models- over 100), plantronics over here. In this price range u can only expect skullcandy, canyon, philips, sony, pioneer,AKG,Hama and Koss over here.

BLAOW!!!!

If you want Sony at that price, pretty much the only option are the MDR-V6's.

If you're gaming though, open headphones are best, but since you're on a laptop, you might be moving around a lot, and it can be annoying if you're in noisy environments, since you wont be able to hear the game anymore.

If you are in quiet areas though, then you can look at things like Superlux HD-668 or 681, AKG K240 Studio, Sennheiser HD555 or 558 if they aren't ridiculously priced in your area, or one of the absolute best headphones for gaming, the Audio Technica ATH-AD700.

The AD700s vary in price a lot though, so they might be like 3 times your budget randomly just because retailers have been raising the prices lately to profit on the demand.

As i said we dont have audiotechnice, superlux or senheiser(in this price range) in my country. I want headphones with 30 or 40mm earcuffs now and not the huge ones. I want something similar to my Sony MDR V150(doesnt have to be sony) but something more comfortable and with better sound quality and still in the 50 or less pricerange. I found one model of AKG for 37 euros its called the AKG404 black. It looks pretty cool and quality-ish.
