Solid State raid problems ( ocz agility2)

I can plug one drive in and it will recognize the drive. Plug in the second and it is not recognized.... and vice versa Ive tried using different  ports and different cables. I still have the same results. Im am on an evo 99x board with ocz agility 2 ssd's Im leaning twards bad controllers just wanted to check every option before I upgrade to the samsung 840 pros. Let me know if you have any suggestions. THank you!

where are thy not recognized ? in the BIOS or in Disk manager ?. 

Try going into DiskPart

also make sure they are on the same chipset ? aka amd/marvell

They do not show up into Bios or Disk management.. they are on the same chipset. Super frustrating... I think it might have something to do with my board. I while back I lost all my configurations from, an electrical storm and I haven't been able to get them back since. Would anyone suggest flashing the bios on the board? im considering it...
