When trying to boot from a USB drive created with Rufus using an ISO image, I get a warning about AMI NTFS UEFI driver bug and Rufus Runtime UEFI media validation fails. Searching this, I read that AMI UEFI NTFS driver has a known bug that causes issues when reading data in small chunks, leading to MD5 checksum errors during validation and this bug affects UEFI firmware and that it has been reported to AMI for investigation. BIOS Settings are correctly configured, USB drive has no errors and Windows ISO is not corrupted.  How can I be certain that Windows installation will not be corrupted?

What if you did manage to install Windows and boot into it, and then use one of the repair tools?

For example, in System --> Recovery, there is a "Fix problems using Windows Update", that'll download a repair ISO and replace everything without touching settings and personal files.

Something like that would probably get rid of any corrupted Windows files, if there were any.

SFC /scannow

Baked in Windows tool to find and fix corrupt system files.

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.
