I got a microcenter green nzxt H440 and am planning to do individual cable sleeving to match Treecko.

need help finding a kit for the colors.

for the 24 pin I was thinking 2 bright green 2 dark green, 1 yellow, and 1 of the orangish red mirrored

I've never sleeved cables for a PC so tips are welcome

Thank you for thinking of me :)

That's way too expensive

If you went with the kits, depending on which PSU you have, the kits may not come in the colors you want.

Also because you want multi color that would mean you would have to buy more than one kit in order to accomplish getting all said cables, because PSU kits only come in one color.

It's an average $90 per kit ( Corsair's cable kits for an example). Plus the tool(s) you would need in order to remove the cables so you can mix and match. Altogether just the kits, because you have 4 colors you want, it would be around $360 -no tax included or shipping- just for the cables/kits. Plus any tools you would need.

None of those a single cable braiding kits, they full bundle cable sleeving kits,

Example:

cp-8920110_24pinatx_conn_zps3d308754.png

This was the old school way of sleeving cables back in the day, before single braided cables became popular, which single braded cables is what you want, correct?

why not go for custom extensions, cheaper than full sets of custom cables

If you just got a couple cables then ya, it would be "cheaper" per say depending on who does your cables. Ex: Some charge $75 for a 24 pin extention , some charge $35 for a 24 pin extention, that's not including shipping etc. If you needed every extension done then it would come to around the same price as to what I charge for a full PSU. Now that's a different story with other sleeving companies, each varies in price. Each company has a different total/amount that they charge to sleeve cables. It all depends on who you go with.

I want to do it myself, Once my H440 gets here I'll measure how much I'll need to do to where it is hidden behind the motherboard tray. I'm guessing 6 inches for the 24 pin and 8 pin cpu, then a foot for PCI power. I'm cheap and gonna cut corners since it wont be seen as the H440 has the PSU basement cover.

I personally do not cut corners, but I can understand why you want to. At the end of the day, if you are happy with it, then that is all that counts anyways :)

Places like FrozenCPU,Performance PCS, DIYmods etc...

what size sleeving would be the best for single cable http://www.frozencpu.com/cat/l1/g35/SleevingHeatshrink.html

The best plastic sleeving to get is 4mm, most come in 3mm and still works good, but 4mm is alot easier and more hassle free to get over the wires.

Same size, you dont want to go to big on the heatshrink becuase when you shrink it, it will be loss and wont hold the sleeving very well.

The best stuff I have found by far ( and I have used alot of deffrent heatshrink), that is outstanding, is bitspowers heatshrink http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=44_916_1021&products_id=32860 it's smaller then advertised at 4mm, but if you take needle nose pliers and stretch it out, it holds strong and if done right, looks the best when shinked.
