My monitor backlight is somehow on even though my setup is locked and my other monitors do shut down even the same ktc branded monitor to the left shuts off next to it. My main Display, h27e6 ktc monitor. Is it cuz it's windows main display so the backlight stays on, I've asked chatgpt and it doesn't tell me how to fix it.image.thumb.jpeg.f5daa80bbe987bfb28e9bc0c8e869d1b.jpeg Thanks lol!!!

This was a common problem with my Acer monitor. I had to get like 4 different DP cables before i managed to find one that had proper standby functionality.

There also seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. Both my son and I use Acer monitors, and my monitors worked correctly with mono price DP cables, his did not. I had to replace his cables to get it to work. I believe I'm using UGreen cables on his now to make it work properly.

Display Port.

I would try a different type of cable temporarily if possible. If your monitor supports HDMI, try that. If it fixes the issue, you know it's the cable as @Levent and I have said, and run into in the past. You could also try swapping the cables between monitors, but this can be less reliable, as a cable can work for one monitor, and not another (display port cables are annoying at best).
