Hi! So I got the  WLmouse beast x pro and I absolutely love it!

However it does not send keyboard inputs on macOS, so mapping keys to keyboard shortcuts does not work. Other mouse functions work. I have tried many things including trying different adapters and dongles and even modifying the keyboards plist file on macOS to manually add the VendorID and ProductID of the 2.4 ghz receiver so that I can force it to recognize it as a keyboard but did not work. It is a 1k receiver(polling rate) and I have an 8k one too(it does not work with that either). The receiver appears as a keyboard in settings as it should be but digging deep into ioreg(through terminal) seems to indicate it is in fact not recognized as a keyboard.

Also in ioreg I see the receiver having PrimaryUsage keys values  of 0,1 and 2 but no 6 and the Mac keyboard has 6 if this helps. Also I have told support they haven't found a fix yet so I am checking if anyone else could help while they look into it. Thanks! Any help is appreciated!

You might need a system extension like USB Overdrive.

(Now there's a throwback; it's been around in some form or another since the 90s!)

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
