Motherboard problems

Go to solution Solved by XxK3V1NxX,

I saw that since there are missing startup voltages on the board, the problem is most likely between the Super I/O and the IPCH, so I'll let this motherboard die in peace. Anyway, thank you very much for the recommendations.

I have a problem with a motherboard I received as a gift. When I install the processor, RAM, M.2 drive, and a 300W power supply, the motherboard gets stuck in an infinite boot loop without displaying an image.

What's strange is that disconnecting the 4-pin CPU power cable allows it to boot for a few more seconds. I don't know what the cause of this could be.

The motherboard is a Gigabyte B250M-DS3H.

I've attached the link to two videos I recorded using both methods.

You forgot install cooling, that will cause CPU overheat protect, and also have you update the BIOS?

Dude, with no cooler on the cpu is gonna hit the thermal limit and the board will reboot and continue to do so.

I'll wager that if you haven't already damaged the cpu, installing a cooler on it would help immensely.

the CPU don´t heat and i don´t update bios

if it's getting power, the cpu is heating up, a lot.

updating bios,

are you saying you haven't updated the bios or that you are philosophically opposed to the concept therefore you refuse to update any bios.

Bro

1: The CPU is receiving power but not heating up. He literally looks dead, and on another motherboard works well.

2. I can't update the BIOS because the only processor I have available is an i3 7100 and it still doesn't output video.

I already tried with Patriot Viper Steel 8GB RAM and an SE-903-XT cooler, and it's still doing the same thing.
