So I recently upgraded my old gpu to a 5070. But there isn’t that big of a performance difference.

On top of that my pc won’t post display if I use X.M.P. İf anyone can help me I would be grateful. I had the ram issue for 4 years so I have done the popular and the quick fixes but they were no help.

PC: Aorus x470 rev1.0, Gigabyte RTX 5070, Ryzen 5900x, 2133mhz ram (3000mhz with xmp). Old gpu was a Quadro 4000 8gb

What sticks are they? What slots are they in?

If you're running 4 together, you're likely to need some manual config rather than relying on XMP.

What model did you have exactly? A Quadro P4000? If so, the 5070 should be enormously faster, but it would depend on the game and the resolution/settings.

A Ryzen CPU running 2133 memory is going to be held back a lot in e.g. esports. Though, single player graphically intensive games should still run well.

Must be poo poo doo doo RAM. There should not be an issue running 4 sticks at 3000Mhz, unless something is borked. Clear the CMOS and try it again. If it's still a problem, look into the timings, possibly the tRAS timings too. If the issues still exists, do a memory test at a few different speeds until you get a failure. One or more modules could be bad or going out, so if you have too, you may have to stick with running two modules instead of four.

Op has not replied. Why even bother trying to help first time posters? I think I'm not going to bother wasting my time anymore if I see that the OP has history of less than two posts. Too many just make a single post asking for something and disappear, that's not right and unfair to the people who take their time to help.
