Earcups or Replace

My ATH-M50s are starting to kill me, after ~30 minutes the leather earcups starting sticking and become super uncomfortable. I could either get some cloth earcups or sell them and get DT770s or something similar. I like closed headphones with a good amount of base, but not when they make me want to die. Any headphone or earcup recommendations? My budget is around $170 for headphones or $20 for earcups.

I'd say try the cloth earcups, if you dont like them, return them and get DT770'S

I'd get the DT770's to be honest. That's probably what I may end up doing soon - I own the M50's myself. Not that I hate them, I just want to try out some new headphones.

 

EDIT: Had to revise what I said. Had two ways of saying what I wanted to say in my head, and they came out at the same time.

I have them, they sound amashzing. If you want more bass though, try the 518s, but i prefer a balence such as the 558's.

Been sheared for summer? Hopefully the winter coat will be back before it gets too cold.
