Yeah nothing of the sort happens on my other monitor, it’s just this oled monitor

Same port, ideally same cable? Seems weird the monitor should react to movement of a character. My first guess would be an issue with the GPU. But since it's a new monitor I'd say RMA

Yep I’m using the DisplayPort that came with the monitor, I might have to rma if I don’t find any fixes soon

What I meant is: Have you tried using the same cable on both monitors, with the cable plugged into the same port on the GPU.

I don't think there's a fix here other than RMA, if it's a monitor issue.

Seems like it might be something with FreeSync/GSync freaking out? What GPU do you have? Is the corresponding VRR enabled in the game and on the monitor? What framerate is the game running on the new monitor, are you at 1440 resolution, and do you have the refresh rate set in windows to 240hz, versus the in-game framerate and resolution/refresh rate of the 'control' (the one that doesn't have the jitter) monitor? If you have an older GPU and it can't comfortably push 200+ hz at 1440, it could be that the frame rate is dropping below the VRR threshold (not sure the exact range for your monitor) and you can get some weird artifacts like that. May need to dial down your game settings if that is the case. It also looks a bit like FSR/upscaling artifacting or another frame-gen type/'AI' tech in GPU's now, obviously depends on your GPU though.

I’ve tried vrr both on and off with a 9070xt, I’m running 1440p with the refresh rate set to 240 in windows

Yeah I’ve tried the wire on a different monitor in the same port so I’m starting to think it’s unfortunately a monitor issue

Do you know what your framerates are in-game? Both on the new OLED and the other monitor. Is the other monitor (the non-funky one) also 1440? 9070XT I would expect it would be able to run well over 200fps at 1440. Do you have FSR and all the AI magick enabled? I'd try disabling all of it to test. But if it still persists, RMA seems to be the case. You may want to record a video of the control monitor and the same exact spot in-game to send to Asus for comparison. They may likely try to avoid the RMA and blame GPU or other hardware. Can you replicate the issue in any other game or is it just this one?

Yeah I’ve messed with fsr, I’ve disabled it and have had it enabled with the issues persisting, it happens in other games too and the artifacting/jitters are quite common so I may have to rma
