Welcome to the forum!

No idea what Linus uses but I'm sure we could help you find a really good set if you let us know what your goals and budget are. What camera is best for one person may not be good at all for the next. As with many things, it all depends.

I agree with @ItTakes2ToMango that the better thing would be to give us some idea of your use case and budget, rather than just copying what Linus has.

Considering that Linus is a public figure, I don't know that he would want to release the specific model, or possibly even just the brand, of security cameras that he uses, just in case there is a future vulnerability against them that people might try to take advantage of in targeting him specifically.

Honestly I would say never just blindly copy someone's security system...each use case will be different depending on what you want.

Unifi is in general just a nice plug and play type of system...but it's effectively like paying an Unifi tax when purchasing cameras.

Lorex is a decent brand as well, I can get a full on decked out system for quite a bit cheaper than Unifi.

Then there is the more custom security system route which would give you the most control...but that is more for businesses really (I can't remember the software off the top of my head, just remember the bill for 4k setup being close to $15k).

The thing is you need to really consider what you are comfortable with.  For example, I don't trust Unifi, or Lorex to be internet facing for cameras inside my house.  A misconfiguration on a server, like what happened to iirc Eufy, could allow others access.  Both Unifi and Lorex systems can be run in an offline mode though (it's the way I would run things).  Then again internal cameras, if it was a must, I personally would go for the more fully self-hosted box version with firewalls blocking all the ports etc except the ones needed to operate.

Anyways, that's just my opinion which is why I think it would be nice to know what you were thinking of in regards to it...some people don't mind cameras inside their house that are cloud based, but I know plenty of others who would be very sketched out by it
