Do you have a budget you would like to stay within?

Preferably under 200USD but I could go up to 250 if it’s worthwhile

Wired and wireless isn't a very common thing that I know of but I'm not exactly in the know for headsets.  I know that the Maxwell can do this.

One option would be the AKG 361bt with a wireless mod mic, oh shoot I didn't realize the wireless modmic was so expensive until I went to link it, that put's you over the maxwell in price.  If you went with the modmic uni which is wired you would be close to your upper limit, could even deal hunt for the akg and find it on sale.

You could keep an eye out for a refurbished pair from apos, my general assumption is they are returns that are QCed but can't be resold as new.  I've done this on various products with good results.

The used market or ebay would get you the maxwell within budget it appears.

I tend to shop for enthusiast grade audio instead of gamer branded so I don't have a lot of suggestions for you.  Those are the only two products I've owned that are wired and wireless.

Audio go Brrrrrr

Really if it’s worth it in terms of price and quality I’d be willing to just do wired, because completely wireless has a bit too much latency for music work

I honestly don't know what would be best for music work, probably something that is un-colored or follows the harman curve, or can be EQ'd to follow the harman curve.  I come at it from a "wanting to have an experience" side of thing's so I enjoy colored sound and different sound.  One resource would be Squiglink - IEM frequency response database by Super* Review and compare them to different target's.  It's a tool to EQ one headphone to sound like another headphone but it'll work for comparing frequency responses.

You'll find that audio is a very subjective hobby and trying to make it objective is rather difficult.  I would again, find something within budget that follows a curve nicely and then EQ it so that it's as neutral as can be.

Thank you for the input, I’ll look through that site!

Check this video out from DMS it's a product that EQ's your headphones towards neutral.  I haven't watched the video yet but he said it's aimed at studio use and I thought about your post.  I don't even know how much it costs yet.
