Country: Australia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: roblox, minecraft, scrap mechanic, sims 2-4, vtuber stuff, elegoo slicer, blender, photoshop. premiere pro, VR games

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

So basically i want to upgrade my current machine:

Current pc specs

Motherboard: Asus rog strix b550-e

RAM: Corsair vengeance bro rbg 16gb (2x8gb)

Graphics Card: Geforce GTX 1660 TI 6gb

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8 core

Case: MSI MPG Sekira 500g

I'm on a budget and want to make it way less hassle so im just upgrading some parts

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hrzb4p

So incase the pcpartpicker list isnt working

Im upgrading my ram, graphics card, case and adding case fans

image.thumb.png.620dea701113b74972fe66a22aca0366.png

I went to keep it in the budget but I want to see if there are opportunities to save money or even put some of that saved money into a new cpu or do I keep my CPU

Im not too entirely sure so I call upon the help of this community lol

I'm sorry your "budget" is $13,000 AUD?

Or did you mean 1200-1300?

It's okay to use 0's when stating numbers 🙂

Not much you can do with what you want, as the prices are what they are.  Going to 32GB RAM is a good call, 5060Ti 16GB is solid, and if you truly want a new look you'll need a new case and $150+ in new fans (that's the point that breaks my head).

There is a Palit Infinity 5060TI 16GB for $699 if you want to shave a little.

But if that's what you want, that's what you pay.

Effectively nothing.  The cooler may be a little better, or not.  It may boost 10Mhz more, or not.  They all have to perform within a margin of error basically, due to Nvidia setting the performance level not the manufacturer.

It may simply be warranty or customer service or none of those.  It coule be an arbitrary price difference due to the Palit wanting to undercut, or the other thikning they're more a premium brand.

Either way, the cheapest will perform within an fps or two than the more expensive.  Not worth paying for, unless it was white and you wanted a theme or something.
