Budget (including currency): 600$

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I only need a graphics card and memory (DDR5). I don't know whether or not to get the gpu first or the ram sticks. I'm looking at a 9060xt for the GPU and honestly whatever is available for ram although preferably 2x16gb DDR5 ram. The 600$ budget range can vary as I currently have work and can save up as needed.

Is it better to get ram right now? the gpu first? or save up more to buy both of them together in the future?

Both are going to go up in price even more because the chip shortage affects both.

I'd buy both ASAP to avoid any further pain in my wallet area

But if you cannot do that then RAM NOW because it is the most susceptible to the upwards trend and the GPU as fast as you can because they are also starting to go up.

I edit my posts for so if you saw a typo.... no you didn't, you are just crazy

Get RAM first, there's still some "reasonably" priced kits and loose sticks out there (but be careful with the random single sticks, only get them if you know what you're doing)

The direction tells you... the direction
