So my dad's office need a new set of computers as the current ones are very slow and run only windows 7

They usually use Excel and simple applications. Here is what I thought of the pc spec

Ryzen 5 5600G

16GB ram

1tb ssd

No gpu,is that ok?

Asus M.B

Is this enough for the application, mind you I dont want to upgrade them for another 8 or 10 years.

And in the cpu,the seller mentioned tray, so we dont get any cooler or warranty right

Specs are okay, but a newer generation CPU would likely extend useable lifetime.

Consider getting mini PC. Excellent value for general office work in a very compact size.

I was gonna suggest that actually

Only problem is that its a whole new system rather than potentially a drop-in upgrade later down the line

I wanted to but the ddr5 ram for them is so expensive, that's why I went with the older cpu

Yes I am not.btw some cpu are said to be tray and not sold separately. What does that mean

Meaning that one needs to purchase motherboard etc. from same company. That or a tray of CPU must be purchased, i.e. bulk purchase, a single CPU cannot be purchased.

Any of them, as long as it isn't a N95 or N150 CPU.  Those are shit.

Also, if these are for a business... I advocate saving money, but they still need security, warranty, and IT support that IS NOT YOU.

DO NOT in any way shape or form build machines for a business you do not own.  If you aren't an actual IT Professional company.
