Hello,

I am a newbie about OS. I am planning to install 8.1 into my new build PC. What I know for now is I need to find a way to download 8.1 ISO file into a USB. And I am also planning to buy the product key from here

https://www.g2a.com/windows-8-professional-32-64-bit-cd-key-global.html

Can anyone help me out please? ^.^ I would really appreciate!!!!

***I have a friend using window 8 laptop. He doesn't know his product key for the window.***

If you buy a OEM CD key from somewhere, all you have to do is drag all the files off the CD onto a USB stick.

Boom.

Done.

As for the website you linked, just throw the .iso onto the USB stick and plug it into your system. I'm about 75% sure that it should work.

I got my ISO off the pirate bay, but I don't really care about torrenting 'illegally' if I have the key

I don't really care either. But most of the people those ISO files are being edited. So i am kinda worry about it. Other than that, I am totally fine with it, lol

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/upgrade-from-windows-7-tutorial

This works nicely. Just download the ISO ("install by creating media") and let it do the job. It downloads it directly from Microsoft, too, so no sketchy ISOs with nasty backdoors.

In that page, I don't see any links that enable me to download the ISO files.. :(

An OEM key does not have anything to do with the ISO image used to install.  In fact, the ISO image that OEMs use is often the same one that is on the retail disks, plus all the crapware of course.

http://winsupersite.com/article/windows-7/install-windows-7-with-a-usb-memory-key

will work with any version of windows vista +

Once you set it up, you can copy over any version of windows directly from the disk and itll work. It installs fast and is a great method for mass deployment without network install or on computers without ODDs.
