Looking into a GPU upgrade(USA)

Hi guys! In my current build, I have a r5 7600, 32gb ddr5, and a 3060 12gb. I recently upgraded to a 1440p monitor, and am noticing that my gpu seems to be at 100% quite a lot, and that I am getting lower frames on a lot of newer games. I know I tend to run on higher graphics, but I still would like to hear if there is a really obvious upgrade path gpu-wise. I Live in the USA btw.

Your CPU and RAM is really good so basically anything you want.

What is your budget? And do you have a preference between Nvidia or AMD?

 

You could pair a RTX 5080 with this CPU and at 1440 you wouldn't be majorly CPU limited.

 

Here is a 4 game average at 1440p with medium settings, if you crank settings up even more you will have even less CPU 'bottleneck'.

I use the term bottleneck very loosely here, its not going to be an issue.

So, buy the fastest GPU you can afford

There is not a GPU upgrade path like with CPUs.  Any GPU can work with any motherboard (Intel or AMD), so it just depends on your wallet.

id like to stay at or around 400, and i can sell my 3060 if need be, in that case depending on what it goes for I could go up

Then you want the 9060XT 16GB or if you can find it that cheap... 5060Ti 16GB.

9070 then, it's a bit over $500

60 cards will have the same issue than your 3060 in a few years, even with plenty VRAM they're still not that fast...

What kind of fps could I get with a 9060xt on high settings in something like rivals(I’m ok with upscale g and whatnot)
