Im planning to upgrade an old PC. I bought a computer with everything in for 200DKK (around $35) but since the PC is from 2006 I can't really use it other than this planned build (which is why I bought it).

Im planning to keep the PSU, tower and HDD (adding an SSD later as the HDD is a 7200rpm 320GB (Im planning to install Visual Studio, Titanfall, WATCH_DOG, Diablo 3 and 2-3 smaller games so I have no problem with 320GB as I have a Surface (not pro) 2 for school work etc)

I have a budget of 5000DKK (taxes + parts are cheaper in US and therefore I need it calcuated in DKK not $) before keyboard and mouse (I don't give much shit about these they just need to be okay) and I already have an 24" 1080p 60Hz monitor.

Oh and the PSU is 650 Watt and its named Corsair TX650W

Any suggestions of thing that could be better?

EDIT:

Also the MOBO does only have PCI-E 2.0 ports but not even the ASUS Maximus (I think thats the name and the Price is 1500DKK. 5.43DKK = 1$) does also only have PCI-E 2.0 ports so would that bottleneck the R9 280X much?

I cant see your list, maybe because only you can see it?

Anyway, 5000DKK is about 900USD right? so giving the tax problem I think you have around 750-800$ right? And you dont need case/PSU/HDD but you need keyboard/mouse which is not including in the 5000DKK, so...

I still included a HDD since I dont think 320GB is enough.

That Gaming Keyboard+Mouse bundle is kinda good, it have a mechanical keyboard + backlight + mouse made for gaming, so try to find that if you can.

Still, i'd go with 8320, and use the saved 50$~ to go with 290 :D

I know the keyboard and mouse for that Price is an really nice price

The computer I bought included a Windows 7 disk but it was only a 32 bit version (not 32/64 only 32 bit) so therefore I need an OS and I own a Windows Phone and a Windows tablet so I am in love with Windows 8 thats another reason.

This is what the list contains.

Try using some cheaper brand of GPU and try adding an SSD (optional), and a aftermarket cooler for that CPU (heavily recommended, especially with that CPU and Mobo) :D

Without OC I think the stock cooler can be ok

Cheaper brand would be MSI and that would drop the Price by 70DKK and I heard so many greats Things about ASUS Cooltech fans. I will get a 120 GB SSD in 2-3 months when I can afford one to have OS and main games on. After that I will get another monitor and then cooler for CPU. Im not going to overclock the CPU before I get an aftermarket cooler.

MSI GPU is quite good as well, and I know that the MSI Gaming mobo have a little boost for the GPU when it detected that the GPU is from MSI, IDK if the same applied to other MSI mobo though.

Does XFX have good fans? I am not waiting to the 2 July for the MSI to arrive.

This is what I have now for 5,868DKK

I have a Samsung 840 EVO 120GB which is not on the Picture cause of size

RFwuw4c.png

Yeah it will work.

Also about the SSD thing, I'd suggest you buy it now since it's a pain to reinstall Windows if you plan to install it on the current 320GB HDD

Now with the phone laid on the MOBO (the one that was in the PC when I bought it

Sry for the noise had to turn up all light.
