Hello,

I'm from Germany and would like to build a new gaming PC. My budget is 1.800 Dollars.I would also need a monitor(will only go with one). There is no need for an OS.

If there is any opportunity for a bigger performence boost around that budget, i would even be willing to pay more.

As for the case I´d like to go with the Phantom 630 Windowed Edition.

I need an optical drive aswell(not sure if you guys always include them).

I would order the parts within the next week.

I hope thats enough information to start with and hope you guys can help me :)

Ill start working on a build the only more information I need is what resolution do you want for the monitor

Also maybe wait out of the cpu till the 25th because the 4790K is coming out same price as 4770k and better performance I'll make a build with 4770k then Ill change it when it comes out

I think the new i7 4790k will be out in about 1-2 weeks, so I think it's best to wait for it since it's hell a lot better than the current 4770k :P

and yes the cpu releases at the same price and for performance will be well worth it ill update you with info about it after I complete build

The CPU will be worth it. It's the same price as the i7 4770k but i7 4770k have 3.5 Ghz while the 4790k have 4.0GHz stock clock. And the Z97 mobo can run the 4790k so you dont have to change the mobo I suggested.

The build below is made with de.pcpartpicker.com so it is in Euro. You may be able to get better local pricing as pcpartpicker doesn't offer a lot of merchants in Germany - I couldn't, for example, find a Z97 motherboard.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU:  Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor  (€197.90 @ Caseking)

Motherboard:  ASRock Z87 Extreme4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  (€124.06 @ Amazon Deutschland)

Memory:  Kingston HyperX Grey 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  (€68.98 @ Amazon Deutschland)

Storage:  Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive  (€115.00 @ Amazon Deutschland)

Video Card:  PNY GeForce GTX 770 2GB Enthusiast Edition Video Card  (€279.89 @ Amazon Deutschland)

Case:  NZXT Phantom 630 (Black) ATX Full Tower Case  (€168.89 @ Amazon Deutschland)

Power Supply:  SeaSonic 650W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply  (€114.90 @ Caseking)

Optical Drive:  LG GH24NSB0 DVD/CD Writer  (€12.90 @ Amazon Deutschland)

Monitor:  Asus PA238Q 23.0" Monitor  (€255.86 @ Amazon Deutschland)

Total: €1338.38

(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Thank you guys for your really fast responses and great recommendations.

I guess i`ll be watching reviews the hole night to decide on the final components, and maybe see if some other people post some more builds.

Do you guys think i should wait to order , because i`ll be waiting for the cpu anyways and prices might change ??
