Smart Travel Mug

Hey Gang,

 

I'm looking for a new smart travel mug to keep my beverages hot for hours. My Ember 2 battery has died after 3 years, and I'm not confident enough to replace it. Additionally, I assume there are better and cheaper options available these days. The only thing that is a MUST is that it needs to be able to ship to New Zealand.

 

Any suggestions welcome. I've checked out NextMug, but they don't send to NZ, and smrtmugg has "AI intelligent" on its spec photos... so I don't trust them.

I've bought a Contigo Snapseal and haven't ever gone back to anyone else. Even bought each family member one and its the only thermal they've ever used. Mine's going on its 3rd year, still no leaks but outer paint and brushed metallic finish is wearing off. I'd say it keeps things cold for 24h+ easily and hot things for at least 6 hours. 9 hours later your tea/coffee will be warm.

Good insulation is a lot harder to deteriorate over the years than a battery. What is the high end of the time duration in which you need drinks to stay hot/cold?

Uh - why not a normal thermos? 

 

My morning coffee is still almost too hot to drink and I made it 4 hours ago. Just a metal, insulated mug. Will outlive me.
