Recently put a post asking which handheld pc was best I was thinking between the https://us-store.msi.com/Claw-8-A2VM-001US?utm_source=pricespider&utm_content=69145beffe15a43e4a80595c&CID=product&AID=_product and the “rog Xbox ally x” or if there’s any other ones I should consider 

1. Performance 

2.display

3.battery

^what I’m looking for mainly and around that 1000$ usd price range

Whats the usecase?

 

A handheld pc would be like a mini laptop not this stuff.

 

These are handheld gaming pcs. If gaming is the goal either a steamdeck or then lenovo legion go 2 with steam os. Windows does not compare for this usecase. Going steam os also gets you better battery lifr and often a bit better performance.

 

The msi claw is basically the worst of the bunch so avoid that

Another important consideration:
How easy is it to replace the SSD, and if perhaps there was divine intervention, and the SSDs are user-upgradeable without voiding the warranty.

 

I'd bet $20 on that 1TB SSD, with a regular Windows PC at gaming levels of abuse, developing serious health issues, if not straight-up corrupted data. 

*using non-conversational, sketch-level language to gesture at structure and direction.
