By LAN do you mean with a wired connection to the router?

Wired on the left Wireless on the right ping and uploads the same however the download on Wireless is a tad slower.

While yes, in most cases your are going to see a difference in WAN speeds between wired and wireless, LAN is where wired really shines.

My Internet connection speed is so crap it doesn't really make a difference. For file transfers on my NAS I get ~120MB/s with wire and about 10MB/s with wireless though.

 

Same here (except my AC get's ~50MB/s on WiFi). I usually can't get above ~112MB/s though. Teach me your secrets...
