CPU Simulator

So I have a history project and I'm choosing to do it on CPUs. I remember seeing a video on how a CPU works and in Tue video there was a link to a CPU simulator but I can't seem to find the video.

The CPU that was used for the simulation was some sort of old console CPU. The simulation looked like the inside of a CPU.

Can anyone link me to it? Thanks
