Ah! Great, I am familiar with CEX.

Take the GPU over there and double check that its working, or not working.

If you get properly stuck I do know that CEX work with TechCentre to repair consoles, PC's and more.

https://techcentre.com/

But lets not hope it comes to you having to resort to such.

One step at a time.

Take the GPU over there tomorrow and lets go from there.

I am following this thread, keep me updated!

They tested it, same thing happens to them. Got a full refund. Just purchased a Shadow 3x 5070ti for £80 and confirmed it worked before leaving store. Hopefully it works when I get home.

Recently built a 7800x3d + 5070ti setup.

GPU RGB and fans spin but no display.

MSI Red and Yellow debug lights.

12vhpwr is fully inserted.

DP into motherboard and I get instant post.

I’ve tried reseating gpu updating BIOS switching GPU BIOS. Changing RAM, using only 1 stick in different slots.

Only time I am able to post is when using iGPU

Is this purely a GPU issue and I should return and replace? Thanks for any help.

7800x3d

Palit GamingPro 5070ti

MSI b850m gaming plus wifi6e

MSI MAG A750GL

Can you try with the adapter that comes with the GPU instead of the 12vhpwr cable that comes with the PSU?

Take it back and ask them to test it if its possible.

Do you have another GPU you can test in your new system?

No not at the moment, at first I thought it was maybe a cpu issue cause of the LED debugs, but being able to use iGPU I think kind of rules that out. I’m going to take it back to them tomorrow to see if they can get it to post, if they can then I have no clue what to do next lmao

One step at a time 🙂

Since your CPU works with your iGPU I am also saying that its not a CPU issue.

Do they build gaming PC's at this store? are they a reputable store where you live?

Yeah they’re a reputable used store, CeX. I’ve purchased GPUs from them in the past and haven’t had any issues. They have another 5070ti in stock at the store I’m going to tomorrow so hopefully I can have my pc running soon.

Okay, awesome!  Good that you got a refund and a new GPU for a bit extra 🙂

I dont see why it wouldn't work in your system, of course it will.

Keep me updated!
