Budget (including currency): 1800-1900

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Star Citizen, Elden Ring / Fusion360, Pycharm etc.

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Hey, I have this so far but Id like to ask some people smarter than me if this is all really a good option. First and foremost, star citizen (and my other needs) are gonna need the 64gig ram, second, I am upgrading from a 5600x and 3060 ti, so I dont need an SSD and may build the 3060 ti for Lossless Scaling inside the PC, thus 1000W may be needed. Also as you can see, id like to maintain the white build lol
Thank you in advance 🙂

Not sure if it's good idea to run Nvidia + AMD GPU at the same time, unless you know what you're doing.

The 9070 XT is already approximately double speed on average, without any technologies involved. (+ AMD has FSR4 on some games if that's something you might use)

The CPU upgrade might feel even faster than the GPU upgrade, so great combo.

That's a great list, let me see if I can find alternatives.

For RAM, this could be cheaper, it's from Amazon though:

Silicon Power XPOWER Zenith RGB Gaming 64 GB

Otherwise the RAM you have is good too.

Motherboard: (some might not have wifi though if you need that)

Gigabyte B850 EAGLE ICE

Gigabyte B850 EAGLE WIFI7 ICE

Gigabyte B650E AORUS ELITE X AX ICE

AIO, there's one alternative: (on Amazon)

Thermalright Frozen Warframe PRO ARGB

Case is awesome, comes with 4 ARGB fans, can't really be beaten for what it offers and price:

https://de.pcpartpicker.com/products/case/#sort=price&m=52,11,225,106,62,824,94,229,56&y=8200000,8200003,8200006,8200023,8200030,8200032,8200094,8200035,8200046,8200050,8200054,8200056

Other cases have less fans, or come with less fans or both, some are shorter and some aren't the look you're going for.

so you think I dont have to run the lossless scaling because of FSR4?
The RAM from amazon is great for that, but is my motherboard that I selected bad or why did you link alternatives? Thank you for your help!

I only selected alternatives for consideration, either to reduce price or other features.

The motherboard you have is perfectly fine and high-end.

How would RTX 3060Ti help the RX 9070 XT?

You might not need lossless scaling at all with the new GPU.

You could try it I suppose, since you have the GPU.

so is 850W enough even considering future proofing and FSR4 on the 9070 xt?

850W is enough to run 9070 XT alone with the rest of the PC, with a little bit of headroom.

If you want to try the 3060Ti + 9070 XT with lossless caling, 1000W is probably better.
