Why when I touch the laptop on the hand wrist thing area and I get this buzz? laptop is n53sv, the area is sort of metallic. I sometimes touch the metal keys or the metal bars of the table to try to discharge or the metal door knobs (I think you are supposed to touch something metallic, about anything and have your feet touching the floor) but still getting buzzed fuck this. Its like a small constant electricity thing, I dont want to damage the computer. What do I do?

Is there low humidity in the house and are you walking across carpet? You can be building up static electricity and whenever you touch the computer, you get a shock from static electricity.

Does the power adapter have a 3-prong plug? If so is it connected to a grounded outlet?

Otherwise that's common leakage.

It's not connected to a grounded outlet as far as I know, there is no grounded socket in this room.

I have one of these but longer
