G29 doing strange movement

So im new to the f1 games and to sim racing in general and i bought a new G29 because it had good reviews and didnt want to play with a controller. I might be wrong but i dont think a wheel should do this if im standing still.
I noticed it when i was driving in nouvelle chicane, turn 15/16 on Circuit de Monaco and in turn 16/17 on Silverstone Circuit that my wheel wanted to live a new life where im the passenger and he is driving.

I have checked that any assistance that should effect steering is off and it says i have the latest firmware for the wheel.

Nope, that's certainly not right. It almost looks like it's trying to do the initial calibration and getting bogged out although the movement at the end is very odd. I would start by checking the cabling ensuring that the connectors are seated correctly.
