So i'm looking into some HDD's for NAS, was going to go with 3x WD plsu 6TB 5400rpm cmr's cus they'll be fine for my needs. They're just shy of 200 each on newegg.

 

But then I found these? Anyone heard of these guys/order from them? Pretty sure everything on here is refurbed

Tried looking up info on them from seagate and went through like 3 different spec sheets with no info on smr or cmr. did find these on newegg US and indicates cmr Seagate Enterprise Capacity 3.5'' HDD 8TB 7200 RPM 4Kn SATA 6Gb/s 256MB Cache Internal Hard Drive ST8000NM0045 - Newegg.com

 

i know ltt has had some good luck with, has anyone else gone with refurbed for NAS? my use would be plex and storage for physical medias and pictures i take on phone and basically only on on the weekends (for now)
