I was looking for a way to sync files between multiple computers without using a cloud service like Google Drive or Dropbox, or configuring SAMBA. Grok suggested this thing called SyncThing. It's a service with a web-based UI that lets you sync a folder across multiple computers. It is basically cloud storage without the cloud. Furthermore, it does take a bit to get it up and running, and configured, but once it is running it works seamlessly.

I use it to sync video files between my Linux box and gaming desktop. I capture gameplay using a Mirabox capture card and OBS on my Linux box, and play the games on my desktop PC. Right now, it is running Windows 10, and the Linux system is running Manjaro. I will soon be moving from Windows to CachyOS. But, I will still do the video editing on the desktop because it has more horsepower. My Linux box is an HP mini PC, but is more than capable of recording and streaming using OBS.
