Connect your mobile using a usb lead and set the phone to tether. That way your using you phone as a wifi network and should get past this if you cant physically plug it into the router temporarily with a network lead.

Clever buggers will be along later to help until then ya stuck with me 🙂

Can’t do both

That just means you need the network drivers but obviously you can't do that without logging in. What's weird is that your login credentials should be saved so that you can log in without internet. what options do you have under "sign in options"?

Gives me the option for either pin or password which I used to have a password but when I put my password it shows in the second picture

Well, there's an option you can try but you'll be on your own for the most part to actually get it to work. Pulled this from Google's AI so can't verify this actually works but I know there's a way to do exactly this just not sure if this is what it is. Though, given that it's just drivers there's no harm in giving it a shot. The main thing here is A. having a second computer and B. making sure you put the driver files in the root directory of the flash drive. If you have a iPhone 15 or 16 and with a usb-c hub that you can plug a flash drive into, you can actually accomplish this without a second computer.

To install network drivers in Windows without logging in, you'll need to boot into Windows Recovery Environment or use a command prompt during initial setup. You can then copy the drivers from a USB drive and use pnputil to install them.

Steps for Installing Drivers in Recovery Mode:
  1. 1. Download Drivers:
Download the necessary network driver files (e.g., .inf, .sys, .cab) onto a USB drive from another computer.

  2. 2. Boot into Recovery:
Restart your computer and enter the Windows Recovery Environment by pressing and holding Shift while clicking Restart.

  3. 3. Open Command Prompt:
In the Recovery Environment, navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt.

  4. 4. Locate USB Drive:
Identify the letter assigned to your USB drive using diskpart and list volume.

  5. 5. Install Drivers:
Use the command pnputil /add-driver <USBDriveLetter>:\*.inf /install to install the drivers.

  6. 6. Restart:
Restart your computer to apply the changes.

If you install drivers they will be installed into your OS so as soon as you switch back to your other M.2 you will no longer have those drivers.

Also, fun fact: this is why computers always had CD drives and motherboards always came with install disks that had all the required drivers.

Yes, once you have the driver files setup on a flash drive, you can follow those steps to install the drivers without having to login first. restart the computer then you should be able to connect and login.

Is there a video that shows steps 4 and 5 kinda lost on how to do that part

You'd have to see if you can find one.

once you get the command prompt open you'll need to;

  1. type 'diskpart'
  2. then type 'list volume' and see the drive letter attached to your flash drive.
  3. Then type 'pnputil /add-driver <USBDriveLetter>:\*.inf /install' replacing <USBDriveLetter> with the letter of the drive

Also yes, those drivers are good
