Hi guys.

My ALT keycap on Corsair K100 broke. It was my fault trying to return it to switch via force and it broke.

Is it possible to glue with super glue parts back (I saved them)?

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

Probably, doesn't hurt to try. Super glue only probably doesn't hold but first with a little glue stick the pieces to their places and after that wrap few rounds of thin sewing thread around the whole "stem" and drench the thread in super glue (not so much you have super glue all around but enough that the thread is wet with it).

Possible, but could be that the superglue might interfere with fitting them on the switch again, or that the bond is not strong enough.

Specific ABS glue exists, you can get it in model shops (i.e. Tamiya ABS cement). Usually those are just mixes of solvents that dissolve the ABS at the surface, thus literally welding pieces together instead of bonding them with filler.

You'd probably spend as much on glue as you would the replacement key. Shipping will probably cost more than a key. The other issue will likely be, you'll probably be better off ordering a complete set, just so they match. Especially as keycap sets aren't that much these days. Even decent quality ones are pretty affordable.

I know I wouldn't worry about trying to glue a key back together. The last thing you need is something breaking off and getting inside a switch somehow, because you tried to glue something back together, rather than buy a $0.50 keycap.
