my RTX 2060 uses less chip power draw, less board power draw, less pcie power which all add up to less gpu clock for when im running valorant in comparison to my mate. my GPU clock is at 1365 but for everyone else its around 1900mhz. now for other games like rocket league, overwatch and rematch it runs up to 1900mhz and every power draw increases by quite a bit. but with valorant specfically there is a lot less of power draw. every power setting in power plan, nvidia control panel have been set to maximum performance, and im just geniunely confused as to whats going on.

This is like looking at fuel consumption to judge how fast your car is going. If you're getting comparable fps as your mate, less power draw would be a good thing, since it would mean your GPU is more efficient.

Look at fps and GPU utilization in e.g. Intel PresentMon or MSI Afterburner instead. If your GPU utilization is well below 100% it's likely that you're CPU limited. What's the rest of your hardware and what hardware does your mate have?
