Whats cheaper?

My uncle lives in US but im from Europe.

What would be cheper me buying pc parts on net in Europe and sending directly them to me or buy them form us send them to my uncle and him sending the pc parts to me?

Buying locally, is going to be cheaper; import taxes and shipping end up being more expensive.

Well if your uncle covers the shipping it would be a lot cheaper than buying from europe.

I don't think import taxes applies if you don't buy directly from the retailer.(someone correct me if i'm wrong)

In most european countries packages are import tax free if sent as "gifts"

Buy local. After you add up shipping, duties & taxes then you'll be spending a lot more than if you were to buy from Europe even if the parts were cheaper in the US.

No really shipping might cut it close but if his uncle is sending the parts he can mark it as a gift and avoid import taxes.

The only thing I'd be concerned about is if you have to rma a part.
