I have read google, I was sure I was doing it rightr, but just to make sure.  It said drag padlock or favicon to bookmarks toolbar ok, both don't work. They don't drop down when I let them go. The image drags up, but doesn't drop on release. Not real sure how to put this.To add bookmarks to the Firefox bookmark toolbar, first, ensure the toolbar is visible. You can do this by right-clicking on the toolbar area (above the current bookmarks, if any) and selecting "Bookmarks Toolbar" then "Always Show". Then, navigate to the page you want to bookmark, and either drag the padlock icon from the address bar to the toolbar or use the "Add Bookmarks Menu to Toolbar" option from the Bookmarks Menu.

Works fine for me.

Click then drag padlock to toolbar worked.
Click then drag the tab itself to toolbar also worked.

Right clicking on a tab, choosing Add Bookmark then selecting Bookmarks Toolbar folder also worked.

Firefox 140.0.4

Are you asking @Poinkachu to update, or are you talking to yourself? Because 140.0.4 is the latest release version.

Works fine for me as well, same version on Gnome with X11. Are you using anything other than a mouse? Because drag & drop is broken for me on Wayland using a Wacom pen.

Ok, I will try X11, hope that works. Thanks. Using a mouse, could anything be missing? I mean, just looks like a empty bpplmarks toolbat for me, when I drag, the immage goes into the space ok, just doesn't stay when dropped.
