Short 1 PCIE cable

I have an ASUS ROG Strix 1200 W platinum fully modular power supply which has four 8 pin pcie cables. I am trying to run dual GPUS which both require two 8 pins pcie cables. I need one of those cables for the motherboard's pcie plug. I need 1 more 8 pin and unfortunately this psu doesn't have any y splitter or pigtail cables in the box.

 

I tried looking on ASUS's website for a cable that would work but I just don't see psu cables for sale.

I tried looking at CableMod, but they also don't seem to sell splitters or pig tails for pcie. 

 

The only ones I've found are from companies I've never heard of such as this.

Are these probably fine since they are listed as compatible on Amazon? Anyone know of a brand that might work reliably?

 

I'm just looking for cable advice, not looking for a lecture on how dual gpus are bad

Have you tried only using the PCIe cables for the GPUs? I would try that first, unless you know you're using some cards that draw a good amount of power from the slot.

I honestly didn't know you could do that lol. After some google searches, it looks like it isn't recommended when running two GPUs which is what I'm doing. I might try it if no one suggests something better, and then see if I have any issues.

Are any of the cables Daisy chain?
