Why is there absolutely ZERO possible ways to contact ASUS to ask a question without having a serial number, and they won't even accept a fake serial number. I want to know how much the extended warranty will cost on a laptop before I buy it, and there are zero literal ways to find out until I have the serial number. I can't even get the contact us link to work without a valid serial number. I guess they're done selling things now, because it's impossible for anyone to ever buy anything from them again.

Guess Amazon takes the hit, because I'll buy it to get the serial number, and if the warranty is too expensive, Amazon gets a return. That's the only possible solution with today's terrible customer service habits.

Which is impossible to get until I have the laptop.

I was able to get it just by adding one to a cart.

I appreciate that, at least, but they only had a select few I could find on the website, and I have no idea if those warranties are going to work for the one I am buying.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CRLFRQ5V

In any case, they give a basic range so I guess I can expect to pay about $300 at the most. I just don't know why they don't list the prices up front like other places do.

It's such a round about way, because they don't even have the laptop in stock so I can't add it to my cart, they just send me to Amazon to buy it and they don't sell the ASUS warranties.

Every company wants to sell you warranty options. They're all going to list them for items they have in stock.
