Hey guys,

 

So when I did my initial overclock, someone said that +100mV is really bad for my GPU. I run a R9 290. Is this true, or can I run +100mV safely? I hear from some places that +100mV is allowed in MAB because that's the max safe voltage, but I want to make sure of that.

+100mV is plenty safe for a 24/7 OC. I've been benchmarking my 290X with +200mV, but I wouldn't recommend that for a 24/7 over-clock.

Don't go by offset values, since stock voltages differ from card to card. Tell us what the final core voltage was with +100 mV. The AMD reference PCBs are really good, so anything around 1.3-1.35V is ok for benching on air (go lower for 24/7).
