Alright so this may have been answered before and I think I know the answer but just wanna make sure. Do I absolutely need to use the shaw provider router/modem or can I use my own? I know I can use bridge mode but it would still be in the loop and possibly be a bottleneck? I mean I think I answered my own question but who knows.

Bridge mode turns it in to a modem only. Shaw will ensure their equipment can handle the internet speeds you have.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
