hey guys,i recently rebuilt my pc,and the specs are ryzen 5 5600g,arc b580,16gb 3600mhz ram, nvme ssd,rob b550 mobo and a 750w corsair psu. i get decent performance on beamng (1440 normal 60 fps) but when im on cod although its showing 80fps on 1440 ultra my game is stuttery and feels super rough to play like tis at about 20fps. my monitor refresh rate is set to 60hz so i cant see that being the issue and ive also changed cod to 1080p low and got like 150fps but it still stuttered and felt rough. im lost, does anyone have any ideas?

EDIT i just bluescreened and after some reaserch i think its my ram or motherboard

Are you playing cod online or campaign?

If it's online then it might be some network or server issue.

Does the gameplay feel rough in campaign as well?

i havent got the campaign installed but ive played other online games okay,im 99 percent sure its my ram now or my motherboard

try with expo/emp enable and disabled, and try with one ram stick at a time. are your ram sticks in the right slots?

Bad CPU/GPU match, 5600G is only PCie Gen3, and B580 is only x8 PCie lanes, so you got 25% of the bandwidth you'd have gotten on Gen4 x16...Sure you don't need that much but that's still quite low, and may limit your GPU performance

Plus the 5600G is the slowest 5000 chip in single core, which is a problem for multiplayer games that often are CPU Intensive

RAM is okay performance wise and mobo don't affect performance unless it's hot af and throttling but that won't happen with a 5600G on a B550 board

If you got BSOD you should do a full run of RAM stability test

Yeah it'll be faster and PCie4, but usually 5700X was cheaper  and better value - unless inventories are drying

Go to C:\Windows\Minidump and check if you have any minidump files. If you do, go back to the Windows folder and copy the Minidump folder itself to the Downloads folder (You can use the desktop if you don't have OneDrive syncing files). Zip the copied folder and attach it to a post. Please follow the instructions to the letter as Windows doesn't like you messing with files in this location.

That way we can check why it BSODed at least.

Get 5700X3D 😛

5600G is a bad buy if you have a semi decent GPU imo, in online or physic/compute heavy games, the 16MB L3 cache will noticeably impact your gaming performance compare to 5600/5600x which both have 32MB.

Now I don't know if upgrading CPU will fix your COD performance, it could be just driver issue on Intel side.
